The client wanted an 8.5″ x 11” poster for their upcoming annual Julebord event. They requested it to be black and white so they could print it in-house. They wanted the date, menu and price clearly defined as well. I decided to give this poster a winter chalkboard look. I feel the winter theme helps capture the time of year and the black and white chalkboard look helps clearly define everything about the event. I feel the illustrations and font styles used achieve what was asked for by the client.
Lyndale Lutheran Church – Here’s the Beef Poster
The client wanted an 8.5″ x 11” poster for their upcoming annual picnic. They wanted information about what was happening at the event, the location, date, timeline and price clearly defined on the poster. Given that the client is a small, country church who wanted to give the welcoming impression that everyone can come to the picnic, I decided to use a country looking feel for the overall look. I feel the background and font style achieved that.
